How to download and install patches

Click on the download option you require (below).
A window will appear asking you to Open, Save or Cancel - click Save
Nominate a location to save the download (eg: your Desktop), and click Save
Double-click the patches icon in your save location, then click Setup
Make sure the path to the buildwin data is correct and then click Install Patches

Available Patches

Take care to download the appropriate patches for you. This will depend on the version of Buildwin you are currently using.

2011 Tax Changes

Tax changes come into effect on 1 July 2011.

This update implements these changes in the Buildwin Payroll.

This update should be downloaded and installed:

After 1 July, 2011
Before the first payroll calculation in July, 2011

How to download and install the tax update

Click on the download link (below).
A window will appear asking you to Open, Save or Cancel - click Save
Nominate a location to save the download (eg: your Desktop), and click Save
Double-click the BuildwinTaxUpdate icon in your save location, then click Next
Make sure the path to the buildwin data is correct and then click Next
Confirm the path to the buildwin data is correct and then click Install Tax Tables
The tax changes will be made to all installed company data.

Speed Improvement Test

We have asked some users to conduct some testing for us, as we try to improve the performance of Buildwin. To do this testing, we ask these users to download a new version of Buildwin.

This download is only of a single file, bw.exe. This file should be saved in the current location of bw.exe on your computer. The correct location can be determined from the properties of shortcuts on the desktop. If you are not certain, please contact Buildwin Pty. Ltd.

This download should only be used by users who have been contacted directly by Buildwin Pty. Ltd.

The file should only be copied onto server machines if those machines are also used as workstations that run Buildwin.
